Yesterday a was posted in this sub. It's uncertain whether or not that alert is justified. However, today H.cash has pulled an interview that was criticized in the comments, from their own YouTube channel. In that interview, their CTO had this to say about what made H.cash special: Thanks Sam.

You mentioned the 7 H's and I will go quickly over them. One of them is quantum resistance which is Hcash will be using the algorithm what will be post quantum resistance. Hcash will be using features from the best currencies in the market. Like the Zcash it will be using the zero knowledge protocol. For instance, it would be using the messaging and encryption of the messages from the example of what Byteball is using to chat. It will be a hive between the currencies so it will be a gateway between all the blockbase and blockless blockchain and then it will talk at the same time and interact with the tangle as well which is IOTA is based on top of it.

So this is the hybrid currency that will live forever in this ecosystem and then interact seamlessly and without any enforce of all these existing technologies on the blockchain using its security and then its protection that will stay with it. Personally I think it's unacceptable for an initiative with a billion dollar market cap, to take down their own content. Investors should be able to see what Hcash has published about their own initiative. Disclaimer: I'm just an amateur mini investor in crypto.

00:12 And so I wanted to do a little bit of digging and see what the what the deal is with this particular cryptocurrency and why it jumped up on everyone's radar all of a sudden, basically overnight. 00:24 So hshare is going to be Hcash in the future.

03:05 So it also introduced, Hcash also introduces introduces instant instance open governance which allows all holders to participate in community decisions regardless of how much they have. 03:16 So in DASH, I know if you want, if you're a master node then you were then able to participate in the voting of various projects or initiatives within the blockchain, and this then you know the way that Hcash wants to do it is allow then everyone based on their holdings to participate in any type of decisions that are coming through. 03:35 And then the proof of work also prevents any pre ICO whales from holding onto large stakes of the of Hcash in order to then sort of dictate the way things go, proof of work within divvy up the the tokens as they're coming out to allow others to get their hands on them to have a more of a democratic approach within the blockchain, within this particular cryptocurrency. 03:59 And then once a vote is passed, all decisions will be recorded in the blockchain, and then that's done in order to avoid any type of consensus issues. 04:05 Hcash is quantum resistance which I know is something that a lot of people really get excited about. 04:12 I'm not personally all that excited about quantum resistance at the moment, quantum computing is still quite a ways out by the time we get to any type of threat with these crypto currencies, I assume that we will have a new type of technology that would be implemented in order to help stave off any type of worries with quantum computing that can just you know overpower these cryptocurrencies and and then obviously lead to all sorts of problems with you know breaking these block chains down and hacking them and things like that, hopefully then that will be solved by then.

04:43 But it, you know it's a nice selling point if you're interested in having that type of protection in case you know god forbid quantum computing kind of rises up out of thin air and it immediately starts attacking all the Bitcoin, which I don't necessarily see happening. 04:57 In total 84 million tokens are going to be created, 21 million will be created via proof-of-work and then sent to dark addresses of those who are participating in that proof-of-work algorithmic, you know blockchain consensus. 05:12 There will be 21 million created by proof of stake.

05:14 Similarly they will also be sent to dark addresses, there'll be an ICO and the free distribution and when that will account for 21 million as well. 05:23 So that's 75 they're already taking up pre. 05:26 Pre ICO investors will hold at twelve point six million tokens, 4.2 million will belong to the development team and the Hcash fund, and 4.2 million will be allocated to the Hcash decentralized autonomous organization. 05:41 So it looks like they're setting aside some funds then for projects and and upcoming things in the future which is good to see. 05:47 It means they are at least setting themselves up for long-term success by sort of thinking about how they're going to develop this.

05:54 And with blockchain and encrypted currency being so new and just being completely new technology in general, it's good to have some at least a sense of not rushing into things so quickly. 06:06 Now the main chain is not going to start until January 2018, so we got a little bit of time building up to it, that's also why there's gonna be the H shares that will be distributed rather than H cash, a lot of people to get in and invest early as opposed to say waiting for the main chain to come out and then buying them up then. 06:23 Once the H shares are distributed, they will eventually then be destroyed as you come in and create your Hcash. 06:29 So that's all laid out by the roadmap, it's a long term play if you're gonna get into this ICO, this is a long hold. 06:36 As you know I'm not particularly interested in icos, but I thought this was an interesting project and given its sort of wave or the ways that it was making no pun intended on the, you know, on coin market cap and kind of seeing it bouncing around forums.
