Ubiq UBQ Mining With My Computer
UBIQ Ubiq is a decentralized platform which allows the creation and implementation of smart contracts and decentralized applications. Built upon an improved Ethereum codebase, the Ubiq blockchain acts as a large globally distributed ledger and supercomputer, allowing developers to create decentralized and automated solutions to thousands of tasks which today are carried out by third party intermediaries. The Beast: Highest MH/s on Pool: We just set up our first mining rig (MSI GTX 1070 * 6), and have been working on getting it stable etc. So far I think it's running pretty good, but the 30 minute hash rate on hodl pool seems to fluctuate a lot even tho my hashrate on the command line seems decently stable. Dash DASH Online Mining Free. Is there a reason for that?
Using WhatToMine you can check, how profitable it is to mine selected altcoins in comparison to ethereum or bitcoin. Ubiq(UBQ) Ethash BT: 1m 25s BR: 7.00. How to start mining Ubiq (UBQ) on pool with Nvidia GPU's. Explained in details how to start mining Ubiq (UBQ) on by cryptomkd.
Late at night it seems to get a lot faster 200 + MH/s, but some times in the morning it drops down to 130 Mh/s (on the pool website). Just curious as to what effects the hashrate. Thanks for all the info here, it's been fun! Enjoying the whole process.
Yea it happens to me too, not just on HODL but Ubiqpool as well. The key thing is to make sure your average daily hash rate is consistent with your cli hash rate. The way you do that is to put your hash rate in and you subtract 10% from the daily number and then match that against your actual daily recording the number of coins mined (including immature and pending) in a 24 hour period.
If this is close to the number you got from the calculator you're good. For example my calculator says 4.3 coins/day and my actual average 24 hour coins mined is ~4.1 - 4.2 even though my online hash rate jumps around a lot.
Cryptonex CNX Mining Computer Buy on this page. Gratz on the rig and don't give up on UBIQ! Hey I'm in pretty much the same boat as you. I just started operating my first rig about a week ago and I'm mining ubiq on hodl as well. Id be interested to know what kind of hashrates you're getting with your MSI gpus (I mean hashrate you see on your system, not on hodl pool). And what software are you using to mine? Im using EthOS and my rig has 5 x EGVA SC 1070s (ill be adding the 6th gpu asap, just waiting on a replacement riser) My system reports a steady 32 mh/s per card (160 - 161 mh/s for my 5 card rig), while hodl can report anything from 140 - 200mh/s. The 3h average is more often closer to my actual hashrate, while the 30m reading is consistently sitting way higher and fluctuates all over the place.
When I follow 's tip to subtract 10% from what 'whattomine' reports, I'm getting pretty much exactly that number of coins. Whattomine says with my hashrate I should be getting 3.94ubiq daily (or -10% = 3.55 ubiq) Over the last 3 days I received between 3.5 - 4 ubiq per 24hr period which seems spot on. Sounds like your system is running pretty good! We've been tweaking settings for a few days and it's usually around 180ish, but we've seen higher numbers in the 190 range as well.
One of our cards isn't maxing out so we are trying to figure that out. Recently I haven't been monitoring the on computer numbers, but just watching hodl. So far we've only run the computer (without tweaking things) for a day and got around 4.50 ish ubq.
Hopefully when we get it running full speed and leave it a lone for longer periods we should have exact numbers. Currently using ethminer, but may switch to claymore and dual mine potentially.
Just haven't had time to read all this stuff haha! So much to learn at once. EDIT: how was EthOs and loading nvidia drivers? I failed with ubuntu (drivers wouldn't load) and nvoc (ethminer wouldn't run).
I've heard that you get better hashrates on linux, but currently on win 10 for ease of use. • • • • • • •.
30-32 per card, but yeah one of the cards dips periodically. I think i might buy some extra risers to make sure that's not the problem. They are the MSI 1070 Armor cards. I edited my answer, but I'll repeat again because I'm interested in EthOs!
How was it installing the nvidia drivers? I failed on ubuntu (drivers wouldn't load) and nvoc ethminer kept exploding. Currently on win 10 just to get up and running. My next rig I definitely want to try EthOs, or potentially switch this rig to it. • • • • • • •. Cool I was considering those MSI 1070s for a future rig.
With nvidia drivers, it wasn't something I had to deal with. EthOS supports nividia cards, I guess it detects your gpus on startup and uses the appropriate drivers accordingly. For someone just learning about mining, and who has never played with linux previously EthOS has been extremely painless.
It has just worked out of the box pretty much. The trickiest thing Ive dealt with so far is setting up remote access via SSH using keys for security. That was tricky because I had to understand some of the commands in ubuntu to get the keys to work, and that wasnt covered specifically in the EthOS knowledge base. • • • • • • •. I have it running on an SSD.
I can look when I get home and try to see what the parameters are for ethminer. General info I can tell you is that ethos refers to a 'config' file, where you specify details for which miner to use, overclocking and power use etc. So you can set a global setting like: 'globalminer ethminer' (by default its set to ethminer anyway).
And that's all you see, you're not specifying all the parameters yourself, rather default parameters are set I guess when you use the global setting like that. I'm pretty certain I can access / change specific parameters for the miner, but ill need to be at home to check. Ill post later. Info about how the config files works here: • • • • • • •.
1 tip for stability if you're using Afterburner is to go into monitoring and disable everything except memory clock, temperature and fan speed. Also increase the sensor reading interval to 10000 (10 seconds).
You'll see this will take Afterburner CPU usage from 15-25% to 1-2% which pretty much reduce all the lag from the UI. It will also make your system much more stable. Discovered this trick 2 weeks ago and I've been running my 1070s full blast at +1000 mc and 70% pl which gives 34 mh/s for the last 2 weeks nonstop without any hiccups. • • • • • • •. 1 tip for stability if you're using Afterburner is to go into monitoring and disable everything except memory clock, temperature and fan speed. Awesome I'll try those settings for sure! Edit: How's the power usage on that OC setting?
