Mining MonaCoin MONA Plus
Just started mining and looking for advice. I just begin to mining monacoin with. But in this pool in one day i get 0.9 mona, and according to mining. Just curious, I find the numbers on whattomine to not be accurate for me, on a single 1080TI I consistently was mining ~.33MONA in a 24 hours.
All mining pools specified in the list support MonaCoin coin, and provide service and have no problems with withdrawals. Find your closest pool server using ping information. The less value of connection time is better. There are 2 MONA pools online. And waiting you to join miners' community.
To get more information open mining nodes for each website using menu button. This tool was created for many users who can not build a huge mining farm but also want to get profit in mining.
Best chance is to connect to any MonaCoin pool. Be aware of low hashrate pools, they often use same design and it takes a lot of time to get first payment, it can be one week or even one month, look hashrate information at our rating table. So I started testing the waters of mining with my GTX1080, I know its not the ideal miner but its my gaming PC so I thought why not give it a shot while im not using it. Anyways, I did a bit of reading and switched from ETH and DCR mining to Mona as whattomine says its the most likely to make some money with. I'm using ccminer and I'm getting roughly 45-60MH/s at asicpool.info. What I'm wondering is as follows: Is there a better miner to use, and also, does anyone have opinions on what pool to mine, as I just picked the first one I found that has a nice dashboard and seems to work reasonably well. Also, I've got a second 1080 that I could toss into the system, but I'm not sure if I should just sell it for the cash or if its worthwhile to mine with 2 as opposed to 1.
TL;DR: New to mining, using a GTX1080 trying to find the best monacoin pool to use and the best miner to go with. Peercoin PPC Mining Pcie 1x. Some of you seem to not worry at all about the power costs when you're running multiple 1080-s and claim to have your psu-s as bottlenecks. Do you have super cheap electricity or something? Just started my first month of test-mining with 6x1070-s, although ETH currently. However I am aware that I won't be getting back my ~3400€ investment in the rig (it wasn't even bought with the cheapest parts possible), if I only mine ETH, so I'm also doing research on other altcoins and yes, whattomine.com suggests monacoin as one of the most profitable ones currently. Noob on this sub / Monacoin + mining it. Wondering if someone can help me please. I'm using a GTX 1080 Ti. I set it up and seems to be working fine in this mining pool - Suprnova's MonaCoin Pool // Algo: lyra2rev2 // stratum+tcp://mona.suprnova.cc:2995 I see you guys talking about MH/s. In the cmd prompt of the mining I see khash/s, so I assume 18135 khash/s would be 18.135 MH/s?
If so, any idea why my hashing power is so low with a GTX 1080 Ti? Is it the mining program (ccminer) or the mining pool or my GPU settings? How to improve?
